Kazumi Asamura was born and raised in tokyo japan and has been working in New York City as a fashion stylist and editor since 2001. She contributes to Nylon US and Nylon Japan where she has created "Newyorkster". She has also worked with Teen Vougue, Trace, Oyster, Dune, and Surface. In 2004, Kazumi styled special projects like "Werk" - a collaborative publication created by Comme des Garson and Colette. She was also selected to style a photo series for Casa Brutus at the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum in New YOrk. She likes to smoke cigarettes by her window and take snapshots of interesting people in the street.
